To say that I am not Internet literate would be a huge understatement. Several years ago a friend’s husband made me a “website”. Ok, so now I had something up there, and could say “Why yes I have a website”, and that was all there was to it.
A year or so later someone else said I could expand on that for you, and indeed they did. But there were glitches, and 16 months of people trying to send me emails, was lost, and other than that I was still at the, “why yes I have one” stage. I had it, but so what. There wasn’t anything about the process I understood. Really- why have one? Oh sure it was nice to be in the in crowd, but to what end?
Then my good friend referred me to Charles Leslie. Let the adventure begin. A new website- he walked me through the whole process. And THEN showed me ads, and made corrections, and asked what I wanted in ads, and explained how they worked, and possibilities for more business, and walked me through what I was looking at, so I would understand what was happening.
There was a purpose to having this website, and this man is a- generous genius- at making the websites WORK for you.And for my old website he helped me with ads, and suddenly I was getting business from a web site, so- AH HA- there was a real reason to have it. Needless to say I asked him to take over that site as well. I know more about all of this in the few months Charles has worked with me, than in all the previous time. He explains. Nothing is “that is the way it is done” And with great patience he explains again- never saying “I already told you”.
I am so excited to actually begin to understand websites, internet ads, promo, and tracking. He notices when something isn’t getting the optimum result, and has a solution to hand. It is really a lot of fun, and the new business is terrific, too.
